Asbestos Management

After almost two decades of legislative control, asbestos in buildings remains one of the biggest health and safety issues facing everyone who owns, operates, manages, leases, or maintains property in the UK.

 

HSE introduced revised legislation in November 2012 tightening control of this hazardous material.

The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012 require those in charge of premises to manage the risks associated with the presence of asbestos.
